A new expansion pack for Metal Gear Online is coming and Konami is celebrating the Meme Expansion with a new series of Metal Gear t-shirts. Didn’t Uniqlo already do this? They did, but their t-shirts didn’t come with a code to redeem a virtual t-shirt for your Metal Gear Online avatar. Purchase one of these three special shirts from Konamistyle’s online store and you get a special item card with a code to get the same shirt for use with Metal Gear Online. Each shirt costs 3,465 yen ($32), but your money won’t do you any good unless you’re living in Japan. Konami USA hasn’t announced a similar promotion and I wouldn’t expect them to since Konamistyle hasn’t been launched in North America. Meat Bun really should fill the gap and get on this by making custom Metal Gear Online shirts for North America.
