Arc System Works is bringing the long running Jake Hunter series to Nintendo 3DS with a new game. Famitsu announced Jake Hunter: Rondo of Revenge, which is slated for release on June 28 in Japan.

Jake Hunter dates back to the Famicom and the hardboiled detective has over a dozen games. Aksys brought over one of them (and re-released it with a new localization) as Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past. I wonder if they’re going to give Jake a second chance since Aksys is doing more visual novels like Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom and the Zero Escape series.
