First Look At Earth Defense Force 4 And It’s Big Bad Bugs

Someone get an oversized can of Raid! Giant acid-spitting ants and spiders are attacking the Earth (again!) in Earth Defense Force 4. Humanity thought they shot the last oversized insect in Arizona, but the Ravagers have been quietly amassing an army underground.

You play as either a Ranger or a Wing Diver, a female EDF trooper with a weapon made from alien technology and blast every bug in sight. Earth Defense Force 4 has Hectors, huge robots with oversized gun-arms, too. We’re still waiting to hear if the dinosaur robots from Earth Defense Force 2017 will be in the game. (They better be!)

Earth Defense Force 4 is slated for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in 2013.
