The US always seems short on Wii stock. Japan doesn’t have this problem and even before the Wii launched in South Korea systems – both US and Japanese – were easy to purchase in Seoul.

Well, if you wished for a Wii as a holiday gift, but got a wad of cash instead here is your chance. Gamestop is taking pre-orders for Wiis without purchasing a ridiculous bundle with one of Ubisoft’s Imagine games right now. Stock is said to come in on January 14 so with any luck you might be able to get one in a brick and mortar store then too.
