Dark Souls II Will Not Have Paid Items, Keyword Is “Time” [Update]

Recommended Videos

Update: An earlier version of the article said Dark Souls II would have paid item storage, which was based on a report from the image board 2ch. Details from the Famitsu article provided by Game no Hanashi do not state this. Siliconera apologizes for the error.

The Famitsu interview with Hidetaka Miyazaki says that the trailer from the VGAs was not in-game footage and the world in Dark Souls II has a common elements with the previous game. It’s kind of like a different period or as Miyazaki says the previous game was like the Arctic and Dark Souls II is like Antarctica. The keyword for Dark Souls II is "time" and the game engine has been updated to look more realistic.
