Mega Man foiled Dr. Wily’s plot and captured him again, but as usual Dr. Wily lives up to his name and has a trick up his sleeve. Dr. Wily jumps into a capsule that’s impervious to Mega Buster blasts – even charged ones. Why didn’t Dr. Wily think of this earlier?
Roll shows up to help Mega Man and Dr. Wily pulls her into the capsule. Oh no! The only way to rescue Roll is to shake the capsule and play tilt controlled mini-games.
Instinct! Mega Man is played entirely with tilt control. Players shake their phone to collect items on an icy level in Ice Man’s world and to move Mega Man in a first person shooting mode where you have to fight Mets and an evil Mega Man clone.
Hammer Joe and Gutsman show up as enemies in the first person Mega Man mini-game too. Capcom also created wacky games like a dance battle with Elecman and a game where you ski on a cake while lighting up candles as Fireman. There’s also a mini-game where you play as Roll and cut cabbage.
The final fight with Dr. Wily starts with a first person shooting game where Wily flies around the screen. Of course, Dr. Wily gets away again, but Mega Man can finally defeat Dr. Wily by making him dizzy. Dr. Wily’s eyes follows the cursor which moves if you tilt your cell phone.
