Madhouse, the animation studio behind Paprika and Tokyo Godfathers, is making an animated opening movie for New Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl. Atlus focused on storytelling for their reimaging of the Nintendo DS dungeon crawler.

 

Using Yuji Himukai’s art as a base, Madhouse brought the Yggdrasil Labyrinth to life. Check out these screen captures from the game’s animated opening.
