Level-5 has a demonic RPG centered on Japan’s subway system. Demon Station features train stations in the 47 wards of Japan and tells the story about what goes on underneath the tracks.
The game starts with the train station closest to you. You are the 69th generation of Abe no Seimei, a folklore figure in Japanese mythology with is the master of Yin and Yang. This power is passed on to you when a Demon Train shows up in over 9,000 train stations. Oh, and the demon trains bring historical heroes like Nobunaga Oda, Ryoma Sakamoto, Minamoto no Yoshitsune, and Miyamoto Musashi to battle with.
Demon Station has Jiro Ishii (428 and Time Travelers) handling the story, Fire Emblem Awakening artist Yusuke Kozaki as the character designer, and Gravity Rush artist Takeshi Oga as the demon designer.
Demon Station is slated for release later this year on iOS and Android.
