As we noted earlier, come March there’ll be a tie up between Phantasy Star Online 2 and legendary mangaka Mamoru Nagano of Five Star Stories’ and Heavy Metal L-Gaim fame. To get in on the goodies, though, it seems you’ll need to pick up a new deluxe package product version that will arrive 20th March.
Within the product are lots of Nagano-designed items. These include costumes, voice changes, hairstyles, weapon sets and so forth. There will also be a music CD and various other in-game premium items.
The front cover art above features allies defending a mining facility against a Dark Biburasu monster. It doesn’t seem to have been designed by Nagano, however.
Phantasy Star Online 2 is out now on PC and PlayStation Vita, with an English release some time this year in Southeast Asia. Keep praying for that US and Europe release!
