Blazblue’s Rachel Alucard Crosses Over Into Lost Saga

BlazBlue’s gothic lolita vampire Rachel seems to have stumbled into the world of Lost Saga. This online beat-em-up game similar to Super Smash Bros. is chock full of crossover characters as well, such as King of Fighter’s Iori Yagami or Samurai Shodown’s Haohmaru.

Rachel brings a set of moves designed to lure foes in or deny them angles of attack, such as Impish Gypsophila’s summoned pumpkin bomb. Lost Saga’s free-form brawler game has players moving around using just the keyboard buttons before combining attacks, defense and their own special abilities to defeat other online opponents.

The twist is the ability to freely swap between different characters midway through fights. So if Rachel’s fight is going badly against a ranged foe who won’t be drawn in, she can totally swap places instantly with, say, the “Not a Gundam” V-Mechanic character. There’s also an item mechanic where you’re able to equip gear onto each character, decking them out with minor bonuses.

Lost Saga is out now on PC.
