The IdolM@ster: One for All released last week, and it seems to be doing quite well for itself. Recently, during an event in Taiwan, producer Yozo Sakagami discussed the future of the series. (Thanks, Hachima.)
During an interview, when asked whether he has plans to work on a game for the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita, Sakagami responded, “It’s already been announced that we’ll develop an IdolM@ster game for PS4, and I’d like to make it into a title that can be considered a ‘sample’ [for what can be done with the PlayStation 4].”
“We just entered the planning stage, so please wait a little longer for more information.”
Sakagami added, “As for the Vita, we tried different things, but we actually have a small team, and developing while being shorthanded is quite difficult.”
