Dragon Quest II Coming To iOS And Android On June 26

Recommended Videos

Square Enix plans to bring most of the games from the Dragon Quest series to iOS and Android. Japan is getting them in an odd order since the first Dragon Quest launched on smartphones first then Square Enix skipped to Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. Then we warped to the Zenithia Trilogy with Dragon Quest IV, but instead of continuing that saga with Dragon Quest V we’re getting Dragon Quest II next.

Dragon Quest II for iOS and Android will be available on June 26 via the Dragon Quest Portal App for 500 yen. This smartphone version uses the Super Famicom remake from 1993 as a base.

Square Enix brought Dragon Quest VIII for iOS and Android to the West, but have not announced concrete plans to release any of the other titles.
