See The Fight With Ramuh In Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Patch 2.3

Square Enix had a lot to share during E3 for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s upcoming patch 2.3 and beyond. While producer and director Naoki Yoshida previously discussed the upcoming features, you can now see them for yourself in the latest trailer.

The trailer begins with a brief look at the massive 72-man PvP mode, called Frontline, where three teams of up to 24 members will fight against each other. It might sound pretty hardcore, but the items will sync at around ilvl 80 or 90, so you won’t have to worry about having the best gear.

We also get a look at Ramuh’s upcoming Primal fight, along with more dungeons (hard mode versions) and questing features. At 4:50, we get to see some more personal features, such as the private chambers in your FC house, and a glimpse at Chocobo Raising.

Patch 2.3 also introduces the Desynthesis and a bunch of new recipes, so you crafters out there will have plenty to look forward to, along with a bunch of Gil that’s just waiting to be made.

The 24-man dungeon instance, Crystal Tower’s Labyrinth of the Ancients, which was introduced in patch 2.1, gets its next part in the Syrcus Tower. Similar tot he first part, it will focus more on casual players with a bunch of ilvl 100 armor as rewards.

Finally, the trailer ends with a little tease for the main quest scenario, as it looks like the Warriors of Light will have more trouble headed their way.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s Patch 2.3 is expected to launch on July 8, 2014.
