Onechanbara Z2: Chaos for PlayStation 4 was announced as the latest installment in D3 Publisher’s zombie-killing hack and slash series. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine announces that the game will be released this October in Japan. (Thanks, Game Jouhou.)

While details are still light on the PlayStation 4 game, it has new features like the “Cross Merge Combination” for multi-character simultaneous attacks and a “QTK (Quick Time Skill)” that uses the PlayStation 4’s touchpad to do special attacks against bosses.

You can also check out a first look at the four characters in our earlier report.

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is slated for release in Japan on October 30, 2014 for PlayStation 4.
