New Nobunaga’s Ambition Game Takes Place In Modern Japan

Koei Tecmo Games has a long pedigree of making games based on history and Nobunaga’s Ambition is one of their oldest series that even predates Dynasty Warriors. The next game in the series has an interesting twist – it takes place in modern Japan.

Nobunaga’s Ambition 201X is a role playing game where monsters, onmyoji, and historical figures have been resurrected in today’s world. If that wasn’t strange enough, Nobunaga’s Ambition 201X has tie ups with the Family Mart chain of convenience stores, a cat food maker, and the Vocaloid IA.

Koei Tecmo Games plans to release Nobunaga’s Ambition 201X in Japan this winter.
