With Dragon Quest X already available on PC, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and smartphones, fans recently asked producer Yosuke Saito during Square Enix’s latest livestream of the Dragon Quest X TV on Nico Nico if we might see it get a release on PlayStation 4. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

When asked about whether Square Enix have plans to release Dragon Quest X for PlayStation 4, Saito responded with “I really want to,” but further explained that those are just his personal opinions, and not related to his position as the producer of the game.

“Isn’t the Dragon Quest Metal Slime edition PlayStation 4 really awesome? I really want to release it!” exclaimed Saito during the livestream.

Considering the issues we saw on the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest X, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see Square Enix give it a shot on the Sony console sometime in the future.
