The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth Arrives On PC, PS4, and PS Vita Today

Nicalis has released Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl’s remake of their top-down roguelike shooter The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth on Steam, as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. European PlayStation owners don’t get it until November 5th – tomorrow, then.

If you’re a PlayStation Plus member you can get Rebirth for free this month. Otherwise, it’s going to cost you $14.99. However, if you already own The Binding of Isaac on Steam, then you can get Rebirth with a 33% discount on Steam (for Windows, Mac, and Linux).

Rebirth sees The Binding of Isaac running on a non-Flash-based engine meaning it will be smoother on most PCs. It also has entirely new 16-bit graphics, plus loads of extra content to pack out over 500 hours of estimated gameplay.

That includes over 450 items, weapons, and power-ups, over 50 bosses with plenty of new ones, and stackable weapons. It also has poop physics, which makes sense considering that the dungeons of Rebirth are full of bodies, stools, snot, blood, and demons.
