Never Alone Is The First Game Made In Collaboration With Iñupiat People

Recommended Videos

Chilly puzzle platformer Never Alone has been released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It’s the first game made alongside Iñupiat people.

In it, you help a young Iñupiat girl called Nuna and an arctic fox to co-operate as they make their way across treacherous frozen tundra to find the source of an eternal blizzard that threatens the survival of everything they know.

You can play it in single player mode, or grab a friend or relative to have a go at local co-operative mode, if you prefer. Both characters have unique abilities: Nuna can climb ladders, throw her bola at targets, and move heavy objects; Fox can jump high, fit into small spaces, and scramble up walls.

As you progress through Never Alone, you’ll encounter the culture and folklore from the Alaska Natives that informed the creation of the game, and sometimes lent their voices to the game, too.

You can purchase Never Alone on Steam, the game’s official website, PSN, and Xbox Live.
