Doujin game publisher Nyu Media has released 773’s visual novel sequel Cherry Tree High I! My! Girls! on Steam. It’s available for $3.99, or as a two-pack with Cherry Tree High Comedy Club for $9.99.

This sequel picks up where Cherry Tree High Comedy Club left off, but this time it’s a “kinetic (single story branch) visual novel and adds new areas, new music, and three new characters to the roster,” according to the game’s description.

Note that on the game’s Steam page it says that Cherry Tree High I! My! Girls! leaves a few major plot points open as it’s definitely not the end of the series, and these holes are being left open for the next instalment.

Due to popular demand, Nyu Media has also rolled out a “dewesternized” version of Cherry Tree High Comedy Club that uses the original Japanese setting, Japanese character names / place names, and everything else.

“This new localization is now the ‘official version’ (the Japanese continuity is preserved in CTHIMG) and is immediately available to anyone who already owns Cherry Tree High Comedy Club, but we have kept the original ‘westernized’ version available for anyone who owns or purchases the game in future,” Nyu Media writes.

Cherry Tree High I! My! Girls! will also be coming to GamersGate, Desura, and other digital retailers soon.
