Yo-kai Watch fever keeps spreading in Japan. Yo-kai Watch 2: Headliner is the third version of Yo-kai Watch 2 and it’s selling way more than brand new games. Level-5 announced Yo-kai Watch 2: Headliner already racked up over one million pre-orders before it’s release on Saturday, December 13.

Usually, video games are released on Thursdays. Their are some exceptions for blockbusters like a new Dragon Quest or Pokémon and a new Yo-kai Watch. Altogether, the three versions of Yo-kai Watch 2 surpassed three million units in Japan alone. This figure counts for download sales and the two Nintendo 3DS games already on store shelves.
