Kemco released Revenant Saga on Android earlier this month. Now it has released this odd RPG on to the iOS App Store at the special limited-time price of $3.99 (down from the full price of $7.99).
You play as Albert, who is tricked into being possessed by the soul of a demon, who fights him for control of his body by mad scientist Dr. Moreau. Albert thought the experiment would lead to a cure to a plague that would save his friend’s parents but it turns out that it turns people into revenants.
Upon being deceived, Albert realizes that the scientist is the same person who killed his childhood friend, and so he sets out on a journey to exact revenge on this despicable scientist. Along the way he runs into Esther, a revenant hunter, who helps him out but is kept in the dark about Albert’s demonic secret.
Revenant Saga is played in 2D during exploration but shifts into colorful 3D battles when you square up to enemies. You can Transform your party members into powerful beings during battle with increased damage and resistance, but comes at the cost of not being able to restore HP or revive downed party members.
