What’s Different With Senran Kagura: Estival Versus On PlayStation 4 And Vita?

Recommended Videos

Senran Kagura series producer and the rest of the staff recently put together a chart that shows comparisons on features and specs of Senran Kagura: Estival Versus’ PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions.

The PlayStation 4 version will run at 60fps and at 1920×1080 resolution, while its handheld counterpart runs at 30fps and 960×544 resolution.

For matchmaking, the PS4 version will support up to 10 players (but can also do 4-player matchups) and can only play with other PS4 players, while the Vita version will be restricted to just four players and can only play with other Wi-Fi players while on Wi-Fi, and other Ad Hoc players while on Ad Hoc connectivity.

As far as graphics go, the PS4 version will display all enemies on the screen, while the Vita version will only show a certain amount, including some that will be visible but you won’t be able to attack them.

The PlayStation 4’s controls will be the exact same as that of the portable version with the touch pad being used the same way as the touch screen, but there will be alternate schemes. The PlayStation TV will be supported for Vita, along with different touch controls.

Both versions of the game will have the same stuff when it comes to the Locker Room feature; everything from costume changing, accessory numbers (10), number of favorite sets (30), costume color variation, before-and-after Tenshin costumes, skirt flipping and peeking, and more.

However, the Diorama Mode [shown on the top image] and their scenes will have up to 5 characters on PS4 and the Vita will have 3. Additionally, the PlayStation Vita version will allow for camera controls during “sexual harassment” teases, but not on PlayStation 4.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus releases in Japan on March 26, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
