Torchlight Mobile Isn’t A Port, But An Entirely New Adventure In The Series

Recommended Videos

PC and console action-RPG series Torchlight will be heading to iOS and Android later this year under the name Torchlight Mobile. Not too many details on it have been revealed so far but we do know that it’s not a port.

Instead, Torchlight Mobile is said to be an “entirely new game” in the series that will be similar to its predecessors, and will include online play, but developed by Fedeen Games and published by Perfect World.

Fedeen Games previously specialized in free-to-play MMOs including the upcoming Forsaken World Mobile, and lesser name titles lick Dawn of the Immortals and Forge of Heroes. So let it be no surprise that Torchlight Mobile will be free-to-play as well.

How else it will differ from Runic Games’s original Torchlight games will have to be seen when more is revealed in the future. Look out for updates on its website.
