Gunman Clive 1 & 2 Are Coming To Wii U As A "HD Collection"

Bertil Hörberg has confirmed on Twitter that he’s bringing his pencil-drawn cowboy platform shooters Gunman Clive 1 & 2 to Wii U.

Both games will be available in one package with a 1080p resolution and will run at 60fps. Appropriately, this package will be called the Gunman Clive HD collection.

Both the Gunman Clive games were previously released on PC, iOS, Android, and Nintendo 3DS. Hörberg has revealed before that the game sold over 250,000 copies on the 3DS, with it selling “very good” in Japan too.

In the first game, you play as the titular gunslinger as he fights his way through a futuristic Wild West in order to save the mayor’s daughter.  The second lifts off where the first game ended, as Clive returns to the town under attack by bandits, prompting him to chase down their leaders around the world.
