Until Dawn, Sony’s Butterfly Effect Horror Game, Has A Multiplayer Mode

Until Dawn is like a mix of Heavy Rain and Telltale’s The Walking Dead series. This interactive horror game follows eight friends on a terrifying mountain retreat where your choices determine who lives and dies.

While story driven games are typically single player experiences, Until Dawn will have a multiplayer mode. A press release from Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia reveals Until Dawn has a multiplayer mode for 2-12 players.

Until Dawn is scheduled to come out on August 25 in North America. Pre-orders include a 25 minute bonus chapter with Matt and Emily, a couple walking on a snowy mountain path.
