Digital Furnace Games has announced that it will be launching its 2D side-scrolling beat-’em-up Onikira: Demon Killer for PC across Steam and other digital stores on July 30th. It will be sold for $13.99.

Onikira has been on Steam Early Access since November 2014 and Digital Furnace says it has reached a point with the current players that they’re satisfied that the game is the best it can be.

It takes place in a fantasy feudal Japan and has you playing as Yamazaki Jiro, a lone samurai battling to prevent the forces of the Japanese underworld, Yomi, from taking over the world of the living.

“Some will prefer to go toe-to toe with heavy weapons and mash some buttons while other players will prefer a ranged game, avoiding heavy melee encounters and the game’s expressive fighting system enables each player to engage in the way that suits them best,” says Digital Furnace.
