IMCGames has announced that the first beta test of Tree of Savior’s English version will start on August 4th.
To be more precise, the beta test will run for seven days, starting August 4th at 10:30 PM (EDT) until August 10th 2:00 AM (EDT). In total, there will be 5,000 testers selected at random from those who have visited the Tree of Savior website between June 25th and July 30th at least once. Those who are from countries where Tree of Savior already has local publishers, such as China and Korea, will not be able to join in the beta test of the English version.
Beta keys will be sent out to those who are selected by email on July 31st and they will be claimable through Steam – the test is being held to try out the “basic environment and overall infrastructure inspection for Tree of Savior’s service through STEAM platform.” The servers will be open 24 hours around the clock and will use the Korea 3rd CBT version, the details of which Siliconera previously wrote about.
Tree of Savior is a Korean MMORPG and kind of functions as a spiritual successor to Ragnarok Online with beautiful sprite work in a 2.5D art style.
