Hajime Tabata Wants Functional Airships in Final Fantasy XV

People have been asking about the possibility of airships in Final Fantasy XV. The Gamescom Active Time Report didn’t have a definite answer as to whether they will or won’t appear in the game, but game director Hajime Tabata believes its possible.

It has been proven technically possible in Final Fantasy XV’s development to have airships in the game. Square Enix is still exploring the tech needed to make it happen. Tabata said that he wants to see fully functional airships in the game, perhaps as DLC if there isn’t enough time in development to have them immediately available.
