Salary Man Pikachu Comes West As Intern Pikachu

In Japanese Pokemon Centers, Monthly Pikachu plushes are released. These are special edition variations of Pikachus in costumes. This past April, Salary Man Pikachu was the selected variety. Now, five months later, he’s appearing on the US Pokemon Center website.

Salary Man Pikachu has been rebranded as Intern Pikachu for his release overseas. Also, instead of being billed as a Monthly Pikachu, the label suggests he is part of a Pikachu Celebrations line.

The Intern Pikachu is a Pokemon Center Original and will only be available via the official website. He’s 7.25” tall and 6.5” wide. He’s currently selling for $17.99 and ships within 24 hours. However, to qualify for free shipping a Pokemon Center order must be at least $50.
