Marvelous producer Kenichiro Takaki, known for having worked on titles such as Senran Kagura, Valkyrie Drive, and IA/VT, recently announced on Twitter that he’ll have one more original title to announce later this month.
In a series of tweets, Takaki explains that Senran Kagura, Valkyrie Drive, and IA/VT are all titles that have come from his belief that he could do more in the battlefield of 50,000~100,000 units (sales) that he’s been in.
He explains that instead of blaming low sales on the industry and calling it a day, which he would consider to be an embarrassment as a producer, he’d rather take the opportunities that are out there.
That said, there’s one more original title that he’s been holding onto for a few years, and will announce it this month, and adds that it’ll likely be a game that you’d least expect.
This new title would be his latest original one following the mixed media project of Valkyrie Drive that is getting an anime, smartphone game, and its PlayStation Vita game this December.
