Japanese studio Dogenzaka Lab has released its otome visual novel The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya on Steam.

It’s set on a closed-off island where baby boys are never born, hence it’s populated mostly by women. However, in the middle of this island is a district where male courtesans reside, and they’re looking for love.

You travel to this district in hopes of falling in love with one of its men. There are six men that you can date in total including your childhood friend Hayabusa.

Dogenzaka Lab says that The Men of Yoshiwara: Kikuya is for anyone who wants to date hot men, who likes romance novels and games, and those who enjoy dramas set in the Edo, Meiji, and Taisho periods.

It was originally released on iOS as part of the Forbidden Romance series. You can download that version for free on the App Store and Google Play.
