Tokyo Warfare Gets A Manga Mode

Recommended Videos

Tokyo Warfare is an effort to recapture the feel of games such as Namco’s classic arcade title Tokyo Wars. But you know what’s cooler than that? Manga.

To address this, the creators of Tokyo Warfare have added a new “Manga Mode” to the game. Everything gets a black-and-white, cel-shaded look to turn it into a live manga.

But it’s not just a color filter. When aiming the gun on your tank those classic black lines from many a manga draw focus to the center of the screen. And if you fire the machine gun you’ll see text jumping all over the screen.

You can find out more about Tokyo Warfare on the Square Enix Collective.
