Ninja Theory Details The Lengthy Process Of Creating Senua’s Face In Hellblade

Recommended Videos

Ninja Theory has released a new development diary video that focuses on the creation of Senua’s face in Hellblade.

Turns out the studio travelled to Serbia to team up with character creation studio 3Lateral to capture the face of Melina Juergens, Ninja Theory’s video editor, for Senua’s face. This involved using high-tech that Ninja Theory wasn’t allowed to reveal due to it being kept a secret.

Juergens herself also talks about how she mixed face paints to create Senua’s fierce, warrior look. If you don’t know, Senua is the main character in Hellblade and has to travel into the heart of a Viking clan while dealing with psychosis.
