Capcom Isn’t Charging People For Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 1

Recommended Videos

Unlike the first Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is divided into four episodes. People can choose how deeply they venture into the story. To help encourage people to take a chance on the series, Capcom has decided to make the Penal Colony, the first episode, free for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 1: Penal Colony stars four characters in two campaigns. In the first half, Claire Redfield and Moira Burton are at a Terra Save anti-bioterrorism event. It’s attacked and the two women are abducted. They find themselves on a remote prison island. Meanwhile, Barry Burton is searching for his missing daughter when he meets Natalia, a little girl who can sense enemies and items. A Raid mode is also available.

In addition to making the first episode free, Capcom has released a $29.99 Resident Evil Revelations 2 Digital Deluxe Edition for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC. For $29.99, people get the four story episodes, two extra episodes, and all DLC.
