During a Danganronpa Press Conference held by Spike Chunsoft today, the company revealed the latest trailer for New Danganronpa V3, along with the announcement of the anime, Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy.
The above is a trailer for New Danganronpa V3, which takes place in a new academy and will feature new characters as well. The theme is “psycho cool,” and has what Spike Chunsoft is calling “cool adult-like image” as for its looks.
The game will feature investigation parts where you’ll get to walk go around and talk to different characters, and it’ll also have the series’ familiar Class Trials, where you’ll get to use “lies” to disprove other characters’ opinions. The game will release in Japan in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Next up is a trailer for the new anime series, Danganraonpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy, which is scheduled to begin airing in Japan in 2016. It will conclude the story of Hope’s Peak Academy, and is said to have things that can “only be done through anime,” according to series creator Kazutaka Kodaka. He also said “3 will be a must-have item. Be sure to save some money.”
