Korean Rhythm RPG Is Designed For The Visually Impaired

South Korean studio Danuon is looking to raise $1,000 on Kickstarter to fund the English localization of its rhythm RPG for smartphones, Ji Eum.

The main idea behind Ji Eum is that it’s accessible to people who are visually impaired. As such, all the moves and attacks that the character makes are based on sound and rhythm combinations. You tap and swipe the screen to match beats.

The story is set during feudal Korea and follows a band of traditional Korean musicians. Being based on a folktale, these musicians are on a quest for humanity to receive the gift of light and music that was given them by their god.

Danuon has pledged to donate $1,000 to charities that support the visually impaired for every 100,000 installs after it has launched.
