Plenty of video games end up getting themed board games. There have been The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, and Super Mario editions of Monopoly. This spring, Yo-Kai Watch will be getting two board games of its own. Hasbro will release the Game of Life Yo-Kai Watch Edition and Yo-Kai Watch Monopoly Junior.
Unfortunately, details on how Yo-Kai Watch Monopoly Junior and the Game of Life Yo-Kai Watch Edition will play aren’t immediately available. However, Hasbro has released images of the game boards.
The Game of Life version has a circular board, with what looks like Springdale in the background. It comes with Count Cavity and Spenp medals, as well as game tokens that resemble Nate, Kate, Bear, and Eddie. It will cost $19.99.
Yo-Kai Watch Monopoly Junior takes place on a board shaped like Jibanyan’s head. It looks as though each player will have their own Yo-Kai Watch board with medals to collect, and will find themselves represented by Jibanyan, Whisper, Komasan, and Komajiro tokens. It will also include a Goldenyan medal and cost $14.99.
Both the Game of Life Yo-Kai Watch Edition and Yo-Kai Watch Monopoly Junior will be released this spring.
