Capcom has announced a rerelease of a PlayStation Portable game on the PlayStation Store. Breath of Fire 3 will come to North America in February 2016. People with PlayStation Portables, PlayStation Vitas, and PlayStation TVs will be able to download and play the JRPG.
Breath of Fire 3 first appeared on the PlayStation in Japan in 1997, with a release in other regions in 1998. The PlayStation Portable version of Breath of Fire 3 appeared in Japan and Europe eight years later, but never came to North America. It is a direct port with no additional content.
In Breath of Fire 3, players follow a young boy named Ryu who happens to be a member of the Brood, a race of people who can transform into dragons. You get to follow him to adulthood as he searches for his lost family and friends. As is typical of Breath of Fire games, he eventually befriends a winged woman named Nina.
Breath of Fire 3 will be $9.99 when it comes to the PlayStation Store next month.
