Bandai Namco Calls Necropolis “The Perfect Companion Game For Dark Souls”

Bandai Namco has announced that it will be publishing Necropolis on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this summer.

Last we heard, Necropolis was meant to be coming out for PC on March 17th, but this release date has been pushed back to the summer now.

Necropolis caught Bandai Namco’s eye last year at PAX East. The appeal was its combination of “third-person action with roguelike dungeon delving for a game that’s fast-paced and addictive, yet diabolically hardcore.” That, along with its art style, humor, and easy in-and-out co-op mode is what got Bandai Namco on board.

“Necropolis’ off-kilter humor and unique visuals add perfectly to the mix, making it the perfect companion game for Dark Souls fans and a great addition to our game portfolio,” said Eric Hartness, the vice president of marketing at Bandai Namco America.
