The game is another entry in the Xuan-Yaun Sword series, which has spanned over 25 years starting with a turn-based RPG released in 1990. Each game focuses on a different angle of the game world’s historical events, all of which surround 10 Divine Artifacts. The series’ popularity has spawned a dozen games, many spin-offs, and a television series.
