Shigeru Miyamoto Comments On The Status Of Project Giant Robot

Recommended Videos

Project Giant Robot debuted as a demo back at E3 2014 alongside Project Guard which, as we learned from the most recent Nintendo Direct, has become Star Fox Guard. But is Project Giant Robot destined to get the same treatment and become a full-fledged game?

Shigeru Miyamoto recently spoke a little bit about the title’s fate in an interview with TIME. Here is what Miyamoto had to say about Project Giant Robot:

“‘Project Giant Robot’ was something we started as a second project, and unfortunately we haven’t yet decided to turn that into a full game.”

At this point, we can only wait and see if Project Giant Robot will be developed and become its own videogame.
