An unknown character must find the connection between four sets of victims across four VHS videos in horror game The Final Take, which is currently working through Steam Greenlight.
Players will take on the roles of four different characters at various points in the game, bouncing to different locations as they try to dodge monsters and discover the connections between them all. Each character possesses some form of recording equipment, which is the only way that players will be able to see some of the enemies and collectibles.
The game uses distortion and other visual effects to help simulate the look of an old VHS tape in their attempts to emulate a found footage style.
An alpha demo is available to players who are curious about the current state of the game.
