Today is a big day for Street Fighter V. The game’s first DLC character has appeared alongside the in-game shop. Alex can now be purchased for 100,000 Fight Money, Street Fighter V’s earned currency. To help reintroduce the character, who first appeared in Street Fighter III, Capcom has released a trailer showing off Alex’s standard and special moves.
There is a free trial period in effect when it comes to Alex. Since Street Fighter V’s Zenny shop, which allows people to use real cash for purchase, is unavailable, Capcom is allowing people to use him for free until it opens. This offer will extend to all DLC characters that release ahead of the Zenny shop launch. Once the Zenny shop is available, people will need to pay Fight Money or Zenny to purchase Alex and any other DLC character.
Street Fighter V is now available for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
