Koei Tecmo and Level-5’s collaboration Nintendo 3DS title Yo-kai Watch: Romance of the Three Kingdoms recently released in Japan, and those of you that are curious about the game can check out the first two chapters to get a glimpse at how it plays. [Thanks, Nintendo Everything.]

 

To give you a basic summary on the game, Yo-kai Watch: Romance of the Three Kingdoms takes place in the world of Sakura Kingdom, where Jibanyan and other yo-kai gets sucked into after opening a mysterious book.

 

Unlike previous entries from the series, this one is a strategy RPG that will have you create your own parties out of the over 400 yo-kai characters that will help you out in the goal of total conquest.

 

Yo-kai Watch: Romance of the Three Kingdoms is currently available in Japan for Nintendo 3DS.
