The Diary, a spin off starring a childhood version of one of the characters from horror visual novel The Letter, has released on iOS and Android. It is available for free, but features in-app purchases that will help fund the development of The Letter.
Focusing on a young Rebecca Gales, The Diary will let players access her diary, reading entries about her daily life and making decisions about what she should do in certain situations. Players need keys to access one of the game’s ten diary entry, though, and keys will be given out daily for free.
Despite being a spin-off of a horror visual novel, The Diary is meant to be a story of love and friendship filled with cute drawings.
