Resident Evil Developer Masachika Kawata Talks The Essence Of The series

In celebration of the Resident Evil’s 20th anniversary, Capcom has been releasing interview videos featuring key developers of the series. Today we get one with Masachika Kawata.

 

Kawata has started out on the series as a backgrounds creator on Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. He has also worked on Resident Evil 4 and 5, and more recently as a producer for Resident Evil: Revelations and Umbrella Corps.

 

During the 20th anniversary interview, he talks about the essence of the Resident Evil series, more about its 20th anniversary, different games and different themes, and a message for the fans.
