SteamWorld Heist’s PlayStation Ports Slightly Delayed

SteamWorld Heist was supposed to arrive on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on May 31, 2016. Which would have meant a chance to joining Captain Piper and her crew as they went on strategic, ship-raiding adventures in the hopes of collecting treasures like water and extra weapons. However, the game has been pushed back a tad. It will come to North America on June 7, 2016 and Europe and Australia on June 8, 2016. The extra time will be spent addressing localization, publishing, and quality assurance issues.

The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of SteamWorld Heist are nearly identical to the Nintendo 3DS version. The only differences are that it runs at 60 fps and offers HD visuals. It is a cross-buy game, priced at $19.99/€19.99/£15.99. There’s currently a 15% off pre-order promotion in the European and Australian PlayStation Store, and North America will be able to temporarily get the game for 15% off after it launches.

SteamWorld Heist is immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS. Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U, PC, and Apple iOS ports are also planned.
