For 400 Microsoft Points ($5) you can pick up Super Contra and shoot aliens in South America. Like Contra before it Super Contra is a port of the arcade version, played in a bordered window and with online co-op play.
The brand new game this week is Wing Commander Arena where 16 players can meet online and shoot each other down. Eighteen ships, nine maps and the return of the Kilrathi Empire makes it sound like it will be worth the 800 Microsoft Points ($10) when it comes out in two days. The best part? The controls don’t look as intimidating as the Xbox 360’s other outer space shooter, Project Sylpheed.
