Aksys has news regarding the North American release of the updated version of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters. Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs will come to North American PlayStation 3s, PlayStation 4s, and PlayStation Vitas on September 20, 2016. It will be a PlayStation Store exclusive for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions, but the PlayStation 4 version will receive a physical release.
The new version of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs features a number of additional features. New chapters and characters have been added, expanding the story. The battle system has also been adjusted in the new iteration of the game.
Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters originally appeared on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe in March 2015. Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs was released in Japan on November 26, 2015.
