Try BitSummit 2016’s The Silver Case Demo

People waiting for an opportunity to play Grasshopper Manufacture’s The Silver Case in English can test the adventure game immediately. A free demo has been released via both Steam and Playism. It should look familiar, as it is the same one that appeared at BitSummit 2016.

The demo for The Silver Case picks up at the beginning of Decoyman, the game’s first chapter. People will take their place in Republic, a Special Forces Unit, and begin investigating a series of murders that seem to be commited by Kamui Uehara, the same man who was behind the similar “Silver Case” deaths 20 years ago. While you aren’t going to have an opportunity to solve the mystery in this snippet, it offers a chance to see how the visual novel with point-and-click and investigation elements works.

The Silver Case will come to PCs in fall 2016.
